Transitioning to Jets Can Be Intimidating
But It Doesn’t Have to Be.Pilots coming from piston aircraft often face a steep learning curve: higher speeds, new systems, different energy management, and far less time to react.
This course was built by pros who know the transition — and how to teach it.
Whether you're preparing for a type rating, airline job, or flying your own private jet, this course will sharpen your edge before you even step into the sim.

How long will this course take me to complete?
Great question! We expect that with focused effort and time to properly digest the course content and material, you're looking at about 1 to 2 weeks. This will depend on how much time you're allocating to studying.
Each lesson has an associated quiz to help you retain knowledge. We also provide helpful guidance for any wrong answers and are always available to help answer any questions you may have!
How does your Jet Transition course differ from ATP-CTP?
ATP-CTP is a robust training required to become a transport pilot (Part 91k, 135 and 121) and receive your Airline Transport Pilot rating.
Our course isn't designed as a replacement or alternative to ATP-CTP, but is structured around most of what you'll learn in the ground portion of an ATP-CTP course.
We designed our Jet Transition course for pilots and students who are:
- Stepping up from piston aircraft into jets
- Wanting honest, detailed and real world information and insights into operating jets
- Curious about what is involved in ATP-CTP curriculum without shelling out $5000+
What avionics systems does this course cover?
Due to the wide variety of avionics systems across jets, we only discuss the nature of Flight Management Systems and provide an overview of the advanced avionics you'll encounter in a jet.
We do offer robust and detailed courses for the Collins Pro Line 21 and Fusion platforms.
